Who we are
Lapis is an independent publisher of fiction and non fiction books for children aged 0 to 14 years. Since 1998 our commitment has been:
- to find accessible formula for a high-profile popularization of both scientific and artistic/historical themes;
- to experiment new ways of expression, combining different genres and languages in order to stimulate children’s interest in books.
- Pioneering the introduction of tourist guides for children, Lapis has developed its editorial project in various genres of children’s literature, creating a catalogue aimed at different targets and with multiple offerings.
- An easy to comprehend style, multiple approach and a trustworthy scientific language are the strategic guidelines that drive our editorial project.
